What Does the Course Cover?

This two and a half day course is the standardized curriculum recognized by FDA and will cover:

  • Regulatory Overview and Introduction to the Rule 
  • Current Good Manufacturing Practice 
  • Animal Food Safety Hazards 
  • Overview of the Food Safety Plan 
  • Hazard Analysis and Preventive Controls Determination 
  • Required Preventive Control Management Components 
  • Process Preventive Controls 
  • Sanitation Preventive Controls 
  • Supply‐Chain‐Applied Controls 
  • Recall Plan
  • Participant workbook will be provided electronically.
  • Participant will be expected to have audio and visual contact with instructor(s) during the course per FSPCA criteria.
  • Participant will need to supply proof of identity via license or company issued identification prior to course.
  • A brief Knowledge Check and post training survey for feedback will be issued to the participant.

Timing:

Days 1 and 2: Course begins at 8 a.m. and ends at 5 p.m. (EST) each day.

Day 3: is a half day and will end at 12:30 p.m. (EST)

RQA reserves the right to cancel this program in the event of insufficient registration or instructor emergency and will make a full refund if this occurs. The liability of RQA shall be limited to the amount of the registration fee.

Cancellation/refund policy: If you cancel 10 days prior to the workshop, you will receive a 50% refund. After that, no refund will be available. Substitutions may be made at any time as long as you notify us.
